Introduction to the COMM 2045 Prior Learning Assessment Portfolio
This portfolio has been developed in pursuit of Prior Learning Credit for COMM 2045: Public Speaking. It presents documented evidence of my long‑term communication experience, including youth assemblies, school presentations, a federal‑level speaking invitation, curriculum‑based instruction, and panel discussions on mental health and cyberbullying. Over more than a decade of educational work across multiple school systems, I have consistently designed, delivered, and refined communication programs that require structured speech preparation, audience analysis, visual‑aid integration, and strategic messaging for diverse groups.
The materials included demonstrate mastery of the COMM 2045 learning objectives through real‑world application.
